Abstract

In article foreign experience of penal systems of such countries as is considered: Norway, the USA, New Zealand, Australia, Spain, Portugal, Belarus, Great Britain, Canada, Germany and a possibility of its application in a modern penal correction system of Russia. When studying special literature, including, taking into account the analysis of international legal documents the author of article expressed a positive assessment of penitentiary practice of foreign countries and the recommendation of her perception in Russia, taking into account safety (personal, family members and relatives) from threats of the person who committed a crime is formulated. Material of the scientific article can be used further in practical activities of correctional facilities of a penal correction system, and also in the educational organizations of Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia.
