About the Journal

The journal aims to discuss philosophical problems that have an actual sound in the culture of modern Russia and the world community at the turn of the XX-XXI century. The tasks of the publication include: analysis of problems of ontology and epistemology, social and political philosophy, philosophy of science and technology, philosophical anthropology, philosophy of culture, history of domestic and foreign philosophical thought. The journal publishes the results of scientific research, review articles and materials of scientific events, as well as reviews of scientific monographs.
Articles are published in Russian with an extended English-language annotation. The founder of the journal is the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Tver State University". The manuscripts submitted to the editorial office are reviewed according to the criteria of relevance, professional informativeness, novelty, practical significance, the quality of their style, the correctness of the main text and summary in Russian and foreign languages, etc. The results of the review are communicated to their authors.
The editorial board includes leading experts in various branches of philosophical knowledge in Russia and other countries. The Editorial Board in its work is based on Russian and international documents on the ethics of scientific publications.
There is no fee for publications.
The journal is included in the Russian scientific electronic library eLibrary, indexed in the Russian Science Citation Index. By the decision of the Presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission, it is included in the List of Russian peer-reviewed scientific journals in which the main scientific results of dissertations for the degrees of doctor and candidate of sciences should be published.
The Philosophy series has been published four times a year in the format of the Bulletin of Tver State University since 2007. The publication is intended for an academic audience, students, as well as anyone interested in the current state of philosophical research.
