Social consolidation of russian society as a problem of social philosophy
Abstract
The relevance of the study of the processes of social consolidation is determined by the need to integrate modern Russian society in all areas of social life: from national relations and culture to management and government. In the context of external (confrontation with the collective West) and internal challenges, integration of Russian society in all spheres of social life is necessary. However, the problem of the foundations of the consolidation of society remains insufficiently clarified in Russian social philosophy to this day. The article shows that among the foundations of social consolidation, in addition to its value, socio-political and economic aspects, the key role is played by the development of people's awareness of the civilizational sovereignty of Russia as a state of civilization. Political and national consolidation cannot be an end in itself, but is only a means and an instrument for strengthening and developing the people and the State. It is shown that the main components of the consolidation process in Russia are the development of civil society and democratic institutions, common historical memory, universally recognized national heroes, etc. It is concluded that public policy plays a key role in this process, within which the developed strategy of national consolidation should operate.
