Countering spiritual and moral threats as an element of Russia’s national security strategy

Abstract

The article is devoted to the threat of spiritual and moral influence on Russia and Russians, used as a tool in the war of a new generation. Spiritual and moral impact is a complex threat, multi-component, and within the framework of this study, the following elements have been studied: falsification of Russian and world history, distortion of historical truth, destruction of historical memory, discrediting of traditional Russian faiths, culture, and the Russian language. These components are cited as motivating factors for restoring the spiritual and moral image of modern Russia and its citizens. Special attention is paid to the development of specific measures to counteract certain elements of the threat under study. They are implemented through education, upbringing, youth work, political and legal initiatives, etc. Further study of this issue will make it possible to qualitatively improve the national security strategy and increase the level of competitiveness of the people and the state in the world.
