Artistic culture as a subject of philosophical reflection: K.D. Kavelin and V.V. Rozanov
Abstract
The article considers art culture as a subject of philosophical reflection. To understand the problem, two different ways of analyzing artistic reality are chosen: positivist and religious-existential. The positivist view is presented in the writings of Konstantin Dmitrivelch Kavelin, the existential view is presented through the prism of Vasily Vasilievich Rozanov's reflections. It is concluded that, despite the different methodological basis of philosophical reflection, both thinkers are characterized by a hermeneutical orientation and a dialogical search for the foundations of artistic culture.
