Abstract

This article is an attempt to understand the features of postmodernism in Russia at the end of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century, its genealogy, and its serious dependence on the tradition of Russian literary and philosophical thought from an earlier period. These issues are explored through the works of Tatiana Tolstaya, Vladimir Sorokin, and Andrei Platonov.
