Philosophical and socio-humanitarian research approaches individual and national identity
Abstract
The purpose of the work is to study the individual and national levels of identity, to determine the mechanisms of their conjugation. The results of the study were conclusions about the cognitive interrelationship of individual and national identity, the conditionality of their relationship to socio-cultural and socio-political conditions. The idea of the cognitive coupling of individual and national identity is new to philosophical and socio-humanitarian knowledge. It allows us to study the processes of constructing national identity not only at the socio-cultural and socio-political levels, but also taking into account its socio-anthropological (socio-psychological, socio-cognitive) foundations, which avoids a formal approach and extreme forms of nominalism in the study of national identity.
