Vol. 63 No. 1 (2023): Herald of Tver State University. Series: Philosophy
Issue No. 1 (63) 2023 publishes articles by researchers dedicated to current problems of theoretical and historical philosophy, social philosophy, as well as the study of traditions of Russian and foreign thought.
The section "Man, Science, Culture" covers issues of semantics, cognitive skills in critical thinking, and philosophical foundations of scientific theories and digitalization. The authors analyze global socio-economic development, institutional shifts in the experience economy, social problematology, and values of digital culture. A number of publications are dedicated to the evolution of Russian federalism, geopolitical realities, national security of the Republic of Belarus, as well as semiotic and religious aspects of culture.
The section "Problems of Russian Philosophy" focuses on the moral ideals in Russian philosophy of the XIX century, as well as the cultural interaction between East and West in the assessment of N.I. Kareev.
In the section "Philosophy Abroad: Past and Present," the authors turn to the historical and philosophical heritage from antiquity and Ancient Egypt to German classical idealism, neo-Kantianism, and modern methodology of intellectual history.
The "Reviews" section presents a detailed critical evaluation of O.A. Ustinov's monograph, dedicated to anthropological paradigms in Soviet philosophy.
