Issue No. 2 (72) 2025 publishes articles by researchers dedicated to the philosophical analysis of the problem of truth and sensory cognition in science, the archaeology of creativity, as well as value contradictions, socio-cultural spaces, and historical-philosophical heritage.
The section "Man, Science, Culture" considers scientific truth concepts and criteria, sensual knowledge in science and its methods, the archaeology of creativity via the potential of noesis, the concept of wholeness in the context of human, tradition as an identity, the dialogue of Orthodox and Islamic cultures in the Russian Volga region during the XVI–XVII centuries, the Caspian macroregion as a special socio-cultural space, and the role of classical art in the formation of a spiritually developed personality. The authors analyze slime, horror, and abjection in flat ontologies, value contradictions of modern Chinese society through the prism of neo-Confucian ethics, the paradoxes of gender equality in liberal vs. Marxist feminism, and the justification of the need for spiritual-moral and military-patriotic education in modern Russia (articles by S.A. The section "Problems of Russian Philosophy" focuses on culture in N.A. Berdyaev's historiosophy, the understanding of the symbol in Russian philosophy of the XX century, and the hundred-year evolution of the structure of the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Federation (articles by E.E. Mikhailova, V.Y. Viktorov, S.A. Malinin, S.N. Korsakov).
In the section "Philosophy Abroad: Past and Present," the authors turn to the humanism of the Renaissance and its influence on modern society, the soul concepts from "psyche" to mentality in the works of T. Ribot and Z. Freud, the neo-Kantianism of the Baden school regarding transcendental foundations of historical narrative, and the problem of human nature in A. Lovejoy’s intellectual history. The papers also investigate the genealogy of the concept of religious collective memory in M. Halbwachs' social philosophy as a continuation of E. Durkheim's theory, and the key features of Pierre Bourdieu’s social praxeology concept (articles by R.N. Parkhomenko, I.A. Frolova, K.V. Anufrieva, V.P. Potamskaya, E.I. Promahova, V.V. Zhdanov, S.V. Kozlov). Book reviews by K.R. Bayanov and E.V. Shakhmatova are also included.
