Issue No. 2 (60) 2022 publishes articles by researchers dedicated to the philosophical analysis of a scientist's methodological culture, the evolution of the symbol phenomenon, megatrends of institutional design, as well as current problems of Russian and foreign historical-philosophical thought.
The section "Man, Science, Culture" considers the methodology culture of a scientist and the methods of meta-theoretic level of scientific knowledge, symbol as the object of philosophical reflection, the impact of megatrends on turns in the history of institutional design ideas, the specifics of mythogony and the ability to disbelieve, and the essence, values and models of education. The authors investigate the ecological approach to the study of education in relation to critical thinking, the formation of social memory and civil identity of students within digitalization, socio-philosophical understanding of the problem of participation and absentheism, the etymology of the term "Hyperborea", main categories of barbarian culture, theological discourse and denominational differentiation in Protestantism, the discourse of justice in the age of the Covid pandemic (articles by S.A. The section "Problems of Russian Philosophy" focuses on K.D. Kavelin's search for scientific and educational identity of universities, personality and society in N.A. Berdyaev’s philosophy, and the problem of the Russian world in Russian social philosophy of the XI–XXI centuries (articles by E.E. Mikhailova, M.A. Talalov, N.V. Teplykh).
In the section "Philosophy Abroad: Past and Present," the authors turn to the mirror metaphor in medieval German spiritual literature, Heraclitus in Nietzsche's philosophy, the origins of genealogy through F. Nietzsche and G. Deleuze, R. Dunaevskaya's political philosophy problem field, and Enlightenment and Counter-Enlightenment in I. Berlin's intellectual history. The papers also investigate the challenge of historical experience openness in the H.-G. Gadamer – J. Derrida philosophical debate, interpretation of historical experience in the context of A. Danto's analytical philosophy of history, and the category of experience in F. Ankersmit’s philosophy (articles by A.V. Simonian, G.V. Biserov, A.D. Chekhalenkov, N.N. Kozlova, S.V. Rassadin, V.P. Potamskaya, B.L. Gubman, A.A. Avanesyan, G.S. Itscovich).
