Issue No. 4 (62) 2022 publishes articles by researchers dedicated to the philosophical analysis of non-reductionism methodology, existential aspects of artificial intelligence, value foundations of education, as well as various problems of Russian and foreign historiosophy.
The section "Man, Science, Culture" considers the methodology of reductionism in order to form a new worldview, existential aspects of strong artificial intelligence alongside the freedom problem, the solution of the "mind-body" problem regarding artificial intelligence, regularities of the optimal organization of society and effective management principles, and the main components of the mechanism for the implementation of social obligations of the Russian state. The authors analyze staff adaptation philosophical foundations, value foundations of a multidimensional model of education, the competency building approach in education in relation to critical thinking, the specificity of apophatic structures of contemporary eschatological prophecies, and the role of symbols in human culture (articles by S.P. Myakinnikov, V.E. Voytsekhovich, I.R. Skiba, T.S. Georgiou, N.V. Mikhalkin, A.N. Mikhalkin, N.N. Ravochkin, S.I. Grigashkina, A.B. Bakuradze, A.Y. Topchy, N.N. Zimenkova, L.A. Nikonov, V.Y. Lebedev, A.M. Prilutskij, S.I. Nekrasov).
The section "Problems of Russian Philosophy" focuses on value differentiation and the human ideal in Russian philosophy, K.D. Kavelin's views about the literary salon of A.P. Elagina, and N.I. Kareev's approach to the mutual influence of cultures in line with the historiosophy of the Slavophiles (articles by V.P. Maykova, O.I. Zadremailov, E.E. Mikhailova, N.A. Soboleva).
In the section "Philosophy Abroad: Past and Present," the authors turn to the problems of war and peace in the writings of D. Erasmus and J.A. Comenius, early Confucianism in terms of K. Jaspers’ "axial age" conception, E. Fromm’s attitude to F. Nietzsche’s philosophical heritage, and the formation of P. Teilhard de Chardin’s philosophy in "The Divine Milieu". The papers also investigate historical experience and narrative via R.G. Collingwood and L.O. Mink, as well as Q. Skinner’s contextualism within intellectual history (articles by I.A. Frolova, V.I. Chernykh, V.V. Bulanov, I.I. Volkov, K.V. Anufrieva, V.P. Potamskaya).
