Abstract

The article presents a study of autonomy and self-determination in the structure of personality self-actualization. The aim of the study was to study the influence of autonomy and self-determination on the self-actualization of the individual. The object of research is autonomy and self-determination as psychological phenomena. Based on the results of an empirical study in which 280 students of 1-5 courses took part, using statistical analysis (calculation of the Pearson correlation coefficient, factor analysis and Student's T-test for disconnected samples), the influence of autonomy and self-determination on selfactualization of personality was substantiated. The positive influence of autonomy and self-determination on the self-actualization of the personality and its individual indicators (self-acceptance, ability to manage time, acceptance of aggression, cognitive needs, etc.) has been experimentally proven
