Abstract

The article is devoted to the issue of resolving the contradiction between the need to update the fund of evaluation tools, and imperfect practices for constructing tests in the modular control of knowledge and skills. This contradiction determines the methodological tasks of diagnosing the state of the learning process at its various stages using tests of various structures and formats. The results of numerical simulation, supported by pedagogical practice, and statistically based recommendations for the construction of control and evaluation materials are presented
