Abstract

The article presents the results of a formative experiment conducted with a complex social group of unemployed people who are in the period of nonnormative employment crisis. The division of unemployed citizens depending on the duration of stay in the employment crisis is reflected. It has been established that psychological support for the formation of competencies of the unemployed during the employment crisis should depend on the stability of the psychological state of the unemployed; be aimed at the formation of a stable psychological state in the unemployed, in particular at reducing the level of anxiety and stress and developing emotional intelligence skills; take into account the needs for the development of competencies in different groups of the unemployed. The implementation of the described programs in practice will stabilize and improve the emotional state of clients, develop personal and professional competencies demanded by the labor market, which will allow unemployed citizens to come to professional self-determination and find a job
