Abstract

The theoretical problem of the research is the forming the personality ethnocultural competence. The objective of the research is to develop a program for the university students ethno-cultural competence on the ethno-regional basis. The traditional ethno-regional culture as a pedagogical resource ensures the transfer of local community spiritual and moral values from generation to generation, which is the guarantor of the personality integration into regional, national and world culture. In the pedagogical design of program the author actualizes the concept of cultural memory, which requires attention to the person's cultural identities and forecasting their cultural attitudes content
