Abstract

Through the use of historical-structural, historical-camparativistic, constructivegenetic methods, lingo-pedagogical analysis and the modeling method, the process of developing students’ research activities of pedagogical universities within the borders of the modern Volga Federal District in the late 40s to early 70s of XX century is presented in a holistic form. The article briefly describes the results of the study: the internal periodization of the studied process is justified, the component composition of the students’ research activities is proposed (target, value, content, technological, evaluation and reflexive components), revealed trends in the development of students’ research activities in pedagogical universities within the boundaries of the modern Volga Federal District during the studied period (trend in the development of the goal, trend in the development of the value orientations of students participating in the research activities, trend in the development of the content, trend in the development of the forms and methods, trend in the development of ways to monitor the achievement of the goal of this activity)
