Abstract

The article considers accentuated character traits as a possible factor of disadaptation of a today’s teenager. The specifics of the types of accentuations, such as hyperthymic, hypothymic, emotive, anxious-suspicious, pedantic, demonstrative, schizoid are revealed. The main characteristics of each of the option of accentuations, their influence on the behavior and activity of a teenager, and the specificity of working with them are analyzed. Taking into account the psychological qualities of the character that determine a particular accentuation, allows us identify possible forms of disadaptation of a teenager in society, to determine the ways of prevention and correction
