Abstract

The article considers the problem of memory resources optimization during the linguistic courses mastery at a non-linguistic university. Based on the analysis of the psychophysiological patterns of memory functioning, didactic techniques facilitating the memorization and reproduction of a large amount of educational material are substantiated. Practical examples that contribute to a more complete and rational usage of memory resources are given. It is shown that the development of declarative memory and the acquisition of knowledge based on it are largely determined by the methods of processing the learning information proposed for assimilation
