The article considers the problem of memory resources optimization during the linguistic courses mastery at a non-linguistic university. Based on the analysis of the psychophysiological patterns of memory functioning, didactic techniques facilitating the memorization and reproduction of a large amount of educational material are substantiated. Practical examples that contribute to a more complete and rational usage of memory resources are given.
