Abstract

The article presents an analysis of modern education in terms of its modernization and current requirements for a higher education teacher in the context of his personal characteristics. It is shown that the motivationalcompetency qualities of the subject of labor, which are professionally important criteria for assessing the personality of a professional, become relevant. An analysis of scientific material is presented, on the basis of which a conclusion is drawn about the most important place of the motivationalcompetency characteristics of the personality of the subject of labor in the structure of the professional activity of a higher school teacher
