Abstract

The article discusses the psychological and didactic determinants that stimulate motivation in the study of medical terminology. It is noted that the psychophysiological process, which is motivation, does not entirely depend on the context in which the training occurs. To a large extent, it is determined by the individual pragmatism of the student and based on the interrelation of personal, interpersonal, sociocultural and contextual factors. It is emphasized that motivational incentives become effective when they are transformed from objective signs of a learning context into a subjective motive for studying a subject. This is facilitated by the implementation of didactic techniques that take into account the psychological characteristics of the perception and processing of new information
