The article is devoted to the peculiarities of using the author's model of speech generation in the course «Russian language and culture of speech». The necessity of transition from formal aspects (studying the norms of the Russian literary language, formulas of business communication and testing as the main type of control) to the development of students ' thinking based on the theory of interiorization is proved. The effectiveness of the proposed method is confirmed by the ability of students to create original texts of speeches, which take into account both external factors (audience characteristics, goals, conditions of speech interaction) and the speaker's intentionsPublished
