Abstract

The article presents the results of an empirical study of the system of life meanings and motivational aspects of the child's admission to the family of candidates for substitute parents. On the basis of the empirical research, using the correlation analysis, the hierarchies of motivational motives for the adoption of a child in the family are identified. The significant role of these indicators in the provision of psychological assistance and assessment of opportunities and potential to become substitute parents is determined
