Abstract

Discusses the features of self-understanding by bloggers of their professional identity. Blogging is a new form of activity that requires studying its features of functioning in society. However, in the scientific world, works are presented that reflect only the ideas and opinions of either the researchers themselves or the views of social groups and communities regarding bloggers who show ambiguity of results. There is a need to explore self-understanding by bloggers of their own professional identity. Blogging as a complex activity affects different aspects of a personality, and contains reflection, including simultaneously acting as a tool to help an individual understand himself and find his vocation, and as a conscious choice of the main human activity. On the basis of a complex of psychological methods, the article describes the professional identity of micro-bloggers at the regional level, their understanding of this type of activity and their identity relative to it. As a result, new relevant trends in the study of the blogosphere and blogging were discovered
