Abstract

The analysis of the concept of professional development is presented, its main stages are identified and characterized: the period of pre-professional development and the period of professional development. The results of the study of individual and personal determinants of the system of professional development of psychology students of the first and fourth years are presented. It was determined that the success of professional development depends on the various components of the process of primary professionalization: first-year students, it is associated with a motivational component and professionally important quality – reflection, and in the fourth year the greatest influence on it have the factors of value-semantic nature
