Abstract

In this study a comparative analysis of the internal position’ features of the student in modern first-graders and their peers, surveyed in the 1980s by T.A. Nezhnova, was conducted. It was assumed that the internal position of modern first-graders has features associated with the early start of preparation for school. The study was conducted on a sample of 36 first-graders, comparable to a group of 7-year-olds first-graders in a study of the 1980s. The authors used T.A. Nezhnova’s structured conversation for the study of internal position of schoolchild. The study showed that the internal position of modern first-graders differs in a number of parameters. The practical application of the obtained results is discussed
