Abstract

The paper considers the problem of building a universal competence (development and implementation of projects) in EFL technical university classes. Based on the analysis of the general classifications of projects, a typology of projects depending on the level of education (bachelor and master) is compiled. The strategy of teaching project activities from simple, short-term, internal educational projects in the bachelor's program to more complex, long-term, external scientific and professionally oriented projects in the master’s program is substantiated. Examples of project assignments for each level of education are proposed
