Abstract

The article defines the place of discursive competence in the structure of communicative competence, based on the analysis of scientific and methodical literature. The terms "discourse" and "discursive competence" are defined. The novelty of the research lies in the fact that it presents the component structure of discursive competence content that is formed while teaching foreign languages by means of Moodle forums. The main characteristics of Moodle forums are given. The results can be applied when using electronic courses in the educational process
