Abstract

The article is devoted to the investigation of the Russian pedagogical press. The content of the analysis of journalistic materials represents public schools in pedagogical journalism in 1917–1936. It is studied the state of education after the October revolution. The main ideas of the labor school are sown in the works of N. N. Jordanian. Its practical problems and tasks become topics of discussion in the of most scientific and pedagogical articles of the Soviet period. With the help of a systematic approach, the features of the educational process in this period is established as the principle of labor school. The influence of pedagogical journalism on the formation of Russian public education is scientifically substantiated
