Abstract

The study examined the problematic use of mobile phones in adolescence. The Russian version of the PUMP questionnaire (Problematic use of mobile phone) were developed for the research objectives. The components of problematic use of the mobile phone and its connections with applications usage, types of activity and some characteristics of educational activity were revealed. It is established that activity in social networks can be a predictor of problematic phone use. The results of the study show that excessive use of a mobile phone has a negative impact on educational activities
