Abstract

The article examines the phenomenon of civil identity and its components, as well as reveals the structural content of the civic component of civil identity. This study includes the study of such personal factors of youth as value orientations and strategies of coping behavior with the subsequent consideration of the existence of links with the co-operative component of civic identity. The results of the research revealed the existence of links of readiness for civic behavior with such value orientations as Inclusion, Equality, Harmony and such coping strategies as Self-control, Problem Solving, Positive Reassessment and Taking Responsibility
