Abstract

The article presents diverse manifestations of individualism and collectivism of Russians and given the relationship of this phenomenon with the peculiarities of the collective memory of Russians. Disclosed methods for identifying characteristics of the collective memory of Russians. Determined the severity of individualism and collectivism in modern Russian culture; identified cultural features of the collective memory of Russians; clarified the socio-psychological tendencies of development of modern Russian culture and their relationship with the peculiarities of the collective memory of Russians
