The article analyzes the signs of the extremism of youth, analyzes the external (socio-economic and cultural) and internal (psychological-pedagogical) reasons for the emergence of youth extremism. The author considers the individual experience of negativity and frustration to the psychological and pedagogical reasons. Also applies to them the incompetence of the teachers in the organization of intrapersonal influences such manifestations of destructive orientation.
