Abstract

The article examines the problems of interpretation of social intelligence as a psychological category, provides an overview of the theoretical investigations on the issue in order to reveal the dynamics in the study of approaches to this phenomenon. It is shown that social intelligence as a factor of success of professional activity represents a category that is in the process of development and refinement, that substantiates the necessity of its study in relation to a particular professional activity.
