Abstract

The quality of modern system of retraining and professional development of teachers of the higher school is analyzed in this article. Data of the sociological poll are provided. The purpose of the poll was identification of ideas of high school teachers about quality of the advanced training courses conducted by the Russian educational institutions. Problems and ways of professional development of teachers of the higher school reveal. Results of research will allow to give recommendations related to formation of effective system of professional development of university teachers
