Abstract

The topic of this investigation is the problem of perception by Russian psychologists the rules to describe results of quantitative data analysis. Investigation was conducted in the department of psychology, SPbU. The sample is first year MD-students. Investigation showed, subjects rest on actual rules of Russian psychological journals. This rules agrees with international requirements 15-20 years ago. It’s the phenomena of discursive diachrony. A version of description results of quantitative data analysis 1970-1980s were perceived as not conforming to the rules. Mathematical ability and statistical skills didn’t been the factor of successful answer to a task
