Abstract

In this paper, the influence of emotionally negative experiences on the characteristics of changes of cognitive style (field dependence-independence). The first mechanism was demonstrated changes in cognitive style under the influence of a disturbing, emotionally uncomfortable experiences. Stress, as well as the specifics of the thinking process, are studied as essential factors influencing the stylistic characteristics of the individual, in particular, field independence subjects with a low level of stress, high anxiety under the influence of emotionally - negative experiences increase its field dependence. Field dependence subjects, with a high level of stress, low anxiety, and mental processes directed analysis through synthesis increased field independence
