Abstract

The article describes the main problematic issues within research of self-consciousness of the personality and the phenomenon of social deprivation. It presents empirical data of experimental research of psychological features of self-consciousness of the person in conditions of deprivation, the statistically significant differences in the groups allocated by gender criterion. Recommendations concerning activities when carrying out psychological work on development of consciousness of the personality in the conditions of a deprivation are made
