Abstract

Theoretical foundations and description of findings from a pilot study of the new art therapy method, environmental art therapy, are presented. Theoretical prerequisites for environmental art therapy programmes with the use of systemic art therapy approach are considered. Factors and mechanisms as well as goals of environmental art therapy have been described. One of the programmes of this kind that was materialised during a year period with autistic children and their families has been presented. Examples of various forms of activities and effects achieved have been given
