Abstract

The publication defines the role of the state factor in the theoretical content’s development of history as an academic discipline in the system of secondary education of the studied period. The dominant role of this factor is justified in the development of history as a school subject. There are identified positive and negative trends of its impact on the conceptual basis of the national general secondary education’s historical component XIX - early XX centuries
