Abstract

The questions are posed and discussed in the article about general and different in theoretical approaches to the psychology of personality in Russia and abroad. Many kinds of theoretical investigations are examined and their problematic. The general defects all of this investigations are shown. The constructive-critical analyses of 37 theories of personality are made. The general and different aspects of those theories of personality are discussed on 8 scientific problems: genesis of personality, correlation between conscience and unconscious in structure and behavior of personality, connections of personality with society, ethical evaluation of individualistic and collectivistic tendency, the directiveness of personality, subject and personality, the place of cognitive composites in the structure of personality, the ways of explanations of the behavior
