Abstract

The article considers the peculiarities of value orientations of young men and women who are studying in higher educational institutions of South-East Ukraine. The results of empirical study were identified values, which are the factor of activation the behavior of the students in the conditions of social changes that are taking place in Ukrainian society. Established that the transformation of the social environment causes corresponding changes in the value-semantic sphere of individuals, but the process of value conversion has a complex nature, and between young and older generations increases axiological gap, which generates an ideological confrontation
