Abstract

In the article age-specific peculiarities of optimism development in the early youth age have been considered. It has been discovered an increase of disharmonic manifestations in the critical period of 17 years. Analysis of received research data of this problem has been done. Special attention has been paid to the research of cognitive component of this psychological phenomenon in the early youth age
