Abstract

Working out of psychological problems of personality is differently turning out in foreign countries and Russia, especially in the soviet period. There and here, however, modern psychology of personality has essential lacks. Among them – separate existing not enough tied with each other scientific theories, experimental investigations and practices of working with personality, and also important methodological defects in each of these spheres. The approaches to understanding and investigating of personality in foreign countries and Russia have many identical and different features. The last is manifested in the fact that the basic investigations and methods of working with personality in our country are tired primary with humanistic-existential and factore-analytical approaches to understanding of personality, whereas abroad psychoanalyses, behaviorism and cognitive psychology are adding to them. The working out of that problems in our country lags from other countries for the reason of historical events, but it is reasonably expect significant advancing in that field in the next ears
