The aim of this article is to hold art-pedagogical analysis of Russian a foreign psychologist perception of such an important professional quality as empathy. The new touch of this research is the appraisal of the importance of the teachers empathy in new social a historical conditions of his professional activity. The knowledge of the contents and structural components of empathy will allow the teachers and psychologists to accomplish their efficient work connected with the development and art-pedagogical improvement of this professionally relevant quality
