Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of main ideas of critical pedagogy. The main sources of the analysis were the books of P. McLaren and J. Gatto. In the article it is clearly observed the tendency that the situation of school education in the USA is in critical condition. Problems of immigrants’ schools, difficulties teachers come across working in these schools are indicated.
