Abstract

The article addresses parochial schools, which functioned in Russia up to 1917 and acted as elementary schools. These schools were subdivisions of a church or a monastery and were started from permission of The Eparchial School Council. In this work the emphasis was put on organization of process of education and on administrative bodies of this schools. The census for teachers is addressed as well, a subject final examinations is being opened.
