Abstract

The article analyzes the approaches to the understanding of the term «emotional regulation». Presents two main classifications of emotional regulation strategies according to John. Gross and H. Garnefski also describes unconscious strategy and functions of emotional regulation. Describes the most popular strategies of emotional regulation in mothers of hospitalized children who received burn injury. Maintain acute relevance of such studies and the importance of further study of the regulation strategies of parents in a situation of a child's illness
