Abstract

The problem of university lecturer innovative functions due to modern trends in the development of Russian education is considered. Dynamics and change of trends (computerization-informatization-digitalization) actualizes the problem of the pedagogical activity tool, adequate for a new type of education – open one. The difficulties of adapting lecturers to new technologies for teaching students have caused the need for readiness to solve innovative problems, which requires improving their skills. It is proved that two aspects become most significant: managing the individual work of students in an open information and educational environment; managing the process of adapting students to an electronic educational environment. A comprehensive study was held at Samara National Research University, the purpose of which was to develop the lecturers’ readiness to perform functions in the context of education digital transformation in the in-university advanced training system
