Keywords:

The article explored factors impacting internationalization of vocational education and training using the Copenhagen Process as an example. The obtained results based on the performed analysis confirm the assumption about the common global trends in the development of vocational education and training under the impact of external developmental factors. At the same time the regulated processes aimed at managing this development in the framework of international programmes, processes and projects do not critically impact the emergence and implementation of the global developmental factors, but are conducive to injecting structure in them and to optimizing them. Availability of global communication channels and of the discourse of experts makes it possible to take advantage of the results yielded by these programmes, projects and processes for all interested parties including those who do not participate in them directly. As a result two types of networks are formed on two levels: one on the level of direct and indirect beneficiaries. The results can be used to update vocational education and lifelong learning strategies and development programmesPublished
