This article provides the analysis of the essence of implicit theories of intelligence and conceptions of learning and approved the thesis that they are the determinants of self-regulation of learning activities. The analysis of basic research aimed at the identification of existing students' conceptions of learning and their relationship to approaches to learning and academic achievements. The author highlights the lack of empirical data about conceptions of learning in domestic science, but also anticipates the need to build domestic typology of conceptions of learning and further investigations in this areaPublished
